Disable 2-Step Verification (2FA)

2-Step Verification (commonly known as two-factor authentication, or 2FA) acts as an extra layer of security for your iDeyPay Naira & Bitcoin wallets.

But you can choose to disable it, if you don’t want the hassle of an extra layer authentication.

This article shows how to disable your two-factor (2FA) paper code.

1. Login.

Visit ideypay.com, or download our Android app, iDeyPay from Google Play Store.

Click  “Login” and provide your login credentials.

2. Go to Profile & Settings.

Once you’re signed in, click on the “My Account” icon then click “Profile & Settings“. Scroll down to “My Settings”  and click “Disable 2FA”.

3. Send Code.

Click on the link that says “Click here” to send a verification code to your registered phone number. Once the code has been sent to your phone, a form will be show on the page.

4. Fill the form.

Provide the verification code sent to your phone in the “Verification Code” field and enter the answer to the security question shown.

5. Deactivate.

Once you fill the information correctly and click “Deactivate 2fa”, your 2-step authentication will be disabled.

You can choose to enable your 2FA later.

That’s all
