How to send bitcoin in Nigeria

This article shows how to send bitcoin to anyone.

You need to have bitcoin in your Bitcoin Wallet before you can send to anyone.

1. Login or Sign Up.

Visit ideypay.com, or download our Android app, iDeyPay from Google Play Store.

Click  “Login” if you have an account already, or “Sign up” if you don’t have an iDeyPay account.

2. Go to Send Bitcoin.

Once you’re signed in, click the “Send Bitcoin” icon on the dashboard.

OR

Click on the “Wallet” icon then click “Bitcoin Wallet“.

3. Provide the Address.

On the “Send Bitcoins” page, enter the receiving bitcoin address.

If the bitcoin wallet address belongs to iDeyPay user, the transaction will be termed Off-chain.

*Off-chain transactions refer to those transactions occurring on a cryptocurrency network which move the value outside of the blockchain.

4. Amount and Description.

Enter the BTC amount  you want to send and the description. The description is optional and will only show in your wallet transactions, for your use only.

Please note that you can send any amount at the moment depending on the amount you have in your bitcoin wallet.

Please note that you would pay miner’s fee to send any amount of bitcoin out of your iDeyPay wallet.

5. Review your details.

Click “Continue” and then review your details before clicking submit. You will be redirected to the wallet transactions page where you will see the transaction details.

  • If you have your 2FA setup, this is where you will need to provide the code from your printed Two-factor (2FA) authentication paper codes.
  • If your 2FA is deactivated, you will need to provide your password before you can submit the form.
  • Your Bitcoin Wallet will be debited as soon as you submit the form.
  • You will receive an email confirmation.
