How to buy on iDeyPay marketplace

With iDeyPay marketplace, you buy bitcoin by interacting with a sell trade ad or creating a buy trade. You can find out how to create a buy trade ad here. This article shows the process of interacting with a seller.

1. Login or Sign Up.

Visit ideypay.com, or download our Android app, iDeyPay from Google Play Store.

Click  “Login” if you have an account already, or “Sign up” if you don’t have an iDeyPay account.

2. Go to the Marketplace.

Once you’re signed in, click on the menu icon then select the option that says “Peer to Peer“ or click the “Marketplace” icon on the dashboard.

3. Select the Buy option.

On the Marketplace page, you will see a list of Sell Bitcoin ads, Click “Buy Bitcoin“. You’ll see trade ads created by other traders on the marketplace. Go through the list and select the trade ad you wish to engage with and click on ‘Buy Now‘ to see more information about the trade ad.

4. Fill the Form.

Select your payment method based on the option provided by the ad poster.

Each payment option serves it purpose:

• Naira Wallet: For instant automatic trading, you must have money in your Naira Wallet to select this payment option.
• Bank Transfer: If you select this option. You will receive the seller’s bank account details in the real-time trade chat.
• Bank Transfer or Naira Wallet: You can choose to pay with any of the two.

Provide the amount  you want to buy in Naira or BTC and click “Buy Now”.

5. Submit.

If the form has been submitted, you will be redirected to the trade chat page where you can find the seller’s bank details and instruction.

• Your trade is automatically completed and you will receive your bitcoin instantly in your iDeyPay bitcoin wallet, if you choose to pay with your Naira Wallet.
• The transaction details will reflect in your wallet transactions.
